The Atom Studio Engagement Guide: Project Lifecycle & Payment Policy
Bespoke engineering requires clear organization and mutual commitment. To maintain quality and deliver projects on schedule, The Atom Studio operates under a transparent engagement lifecycle. Here is exactly how we work with our clients from the first build request to the final system handover.
Our Structured 50/50 Payment Model
We believe in honest, predictable pricing and equal commitment. To secure development slots and cover the architecture overhead, all projects follow a simple 50/50 payment split:
- >>50% Initial Advance: Paid upon signing the project agreement. This secures your slot in our build cycle and initiates the interface planning and code assembly.
- >>50% Final Payment: Paid upon successful system completion and client review approval, immediately prior to final domain deployment and server handover.
This structure ensures both parties remain aligned, milestones are met on schedule, and development resources are dedicated fully to your project.
Deliverable Milestones and Client Revisions
Once the advance payment is processed, the project proceeds through structured checkpoints:
- >>1. Design Alignment: We establish the monochrome/color palette, grid layout, and text styling.
- >>2. Active Build: We construct the frontend and backend routes on a private staging link so you can monitor progress live.
- >>3. Correction Rounds: Depending on your package tier, you receive dedicated revision rounds (3 rounds for Launch Site, 5 for Narrative, 10 for Professional, 23 for The One) to tweak layouts, copywriting, and media assets.
- >>4. Quality Check: We run compiler audits, verify contact forms, and inspect sitemaps.
- >>5. Final Transfer: Upon receipt of the remaining 50% balance, we point the DNS to your servers, enable SSL, and transfer ownership.
By keeping the workflow structured and transparent, we eliminate friction and ensure your custom web system goes live exactly as planned.
